Shipping & Delivery Policy

At For You Gift Store, we understand that every bouquet is meaningful. We carefully prepare each arrangement with attention to detail to ensure your flowers arrive fresh, elegant, and beautifully presented.

Delivery Areas

For You Gift Store currently offers flower delivery across selected Sydney metropolitan areas.

If you are unsure whether we deliver to your suburb, please contact us before placing your order.

Same-Day Delivery

Same-day delivery may be available for orders placed before our daily cut-off time, subject to flower availability and delivery capacity. Please give us a call if unsure.

Delivery Timeframes

Requested delivery times are treated as preferences only and cannot be guaranteed.

Deliveries may be affected by:

  • Traffic conditions
  • Weather conditions
  • Apartment or building access restrictions
  • Peak seasonal demand
  • Third-party courier delays

We will always do our best to ensure your order arrives as close as possible to the requested timeframe.

Recipient Availability

Please ensure the recipient is available to receive the flowers at the nominated delivery address.

If the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery:

  • Flowers may be left in a safe location where appropriate
  • Flowers may be left with reception, concierge, or front desk staff
  • Our delivery driver or courier may contact the recipient directly using the phone number provided at checkout

As fresh flowers are delicate and perishable, For You Gift Store cannot take responsibility for flower quality once the order has been successfully delivered and left at the premises.

Hospitals, Hotels & Universities

For deliveries to hospitals, hotels, student accommodations, or university campuses:

  • Delivery will be made to reception or the designated collection area where required by the venue
  • The recipient may need to collect the flowers directly from reception or concierge staff
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by internal venue procedures or restricted access

Surprise Deliveries

For surprise delivery requests, please message or call our team as there is an additional $50 fee. This is to cover the costs of sending one of our staff to personally deliver the bouquet and make sure that it remains a surprise. This is because surprise deliveries falls outside our usual delivery policy of calling the recipient prior to delivery. 

Incorrect Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring all delivery details are accurate, including:

  • Recipient full name
  • Delivery address
  • Valid contact phone number

Additional delivery or redelivery fees may apply if incorrect or incomplete information is provided.

Failed Deliveries & Redelivery

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Incorrect address details
  • No access to the property
  • Recipient unavailable with no safe place to leave the order
  • Unanswered calls or messages

the order may be returned and redelivery charges may apply.

Extreme Weather Conditions

During periods of extreme heat, heavy rain, or unsafe road conditions, deliveries may experience delays to protect both flower quality and driver safety.

Peak Seasonal Periods

During high-volume periods including:

  • Valentine’s Day
  • Mother’s Day
  • Graduation season
  • Christmas and New Year

delivery times may be extended and exact timing requests may not be possible.
